I WRITE FROM THE HEART. THERE SHOULD BE NO OTHER WAY TO WRITE.

*I don't intend to criticize myself going forward, but I wrote A Tale of Two Thieves as a 16-year-old who was too impatient to properly edit. There are a lot of typos and some aspects that don't quite make sense. Judge the story, not the obvious flaws that would've been fixed with a second draft and a larger worldview. It won't happen again, I've promised myself!
I used to believe in keeping writing as something I loved to do on the side, and to try to find some other thing by which to build the rest of my life. I am seriously reconsidering that philosophy. This website is part of a new chapter in my life, of following what I love. In December of 2018, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in Biology and a minor in Spanish. I'm now trying to build my writing career, and despite the uncertainty of this endeavor, I'm grateful and excited that I get to pursue what I love.
I have been writing fiction since the fourth grade, when my teacher spent months teaching creative writing and I fell in love with it. In 2013, I completed the first draft of a novella during National Novel Writing Month, and it won a Silver Medal at the Scholastic Awards for Art and Writing. That novella was later revised, expanded, and self-published through Amazon Createspace, under the title A Tale of Two Thieves.
I'm currently working on a new novel (tentatively titled "Gold").
