12:00 pm: The water droplets on this tree have given up. They’ve frozen in place on the branches, unable to fall and fulfill their destiny. How sad it must be to not be able to fall…held in place by the conditions of your surroundings conflicting with your very composition. Poor water droplets. Just remember “The only failure is giving up on yourself.” A water conservation expert wrote me that quote.

12:19 pm: A girl walked by with three bananas. Maybe she’s friends with monkeys.
12:20 pm: This blonde girl at the table in front of me has a fake face. It’s almost peach, and her eyelids are painted on. But she’s wearing a rain jacket and leggings and fuzzy socks and has a neon pink backpack. Fashion is weird.
12:41 pm: Why does one use their left hand to hold their phone to their right ear? What’s so complicated about moving the plate that you’re holding with your right hand to your left hand so that your right hand may hold the phone to your right ear? I’d make a remark about the competence of UGA students, but so many other people do it that I’m just left baffled.
